Info and downloads
We provide up-to-date information on traffic conditions, roadworks, pass roads and radar checks.
About us
The Provincial Traffic Information Centre was established in 1977 as an office of the Provincial Department of Tourism.
At that time it was located in the centre of Bolzano. It moved to Drususallee in 1994 as part of the Provincial Fire and Civil Defence Department.
We provide up-to-date information on the general traffic situation, roadworks, pass roads and speed measurements (radar).
In the event of a disaster, we provide important information to the population via the radio and television stations (RAS).
We receive information from our approximately 2,000 traffic jam reporters, the various police forces, fire brigades and road construction centres, among others.
You can reach us 365 days a year - from Monday to Saturday from 06:00 to 20:00 and on Sundays and public holidays from 07:30 to 20:00 and listen to us on the following radio stations:
Radio 2000, Radio 2000 Edelweiss, Radio 2000 Stadtradio Bozen, Die Antenne, Radio Gherdëina, Radio Grüne Welle, Radio Holiday, Radio Nord, Radio Sonnenschein, RAI Südtirol, Stadtradio Meran, ERF Südtirol, Radio NBC, Radio Sacra Famiglia, Radio Tandem and Radio Italia Anni 60.
If you would like to get in touch with us regarding special products or information, you can contact us by e-mail at vmz@provinz.bz.it. We also welcome any information and suggestions from customers and are always open to constructive criticism.
